    Perform searches on the major search engines to see where and how often your competition shows up in the results.  Check lead provider sites to see listings from your competitors, and where they show up relative to your own.

    Create an email address with Gmail or Yahoo and shop your competition.  Collect and compare their email templates and calls to action with yours.  Are they using text, graphics and video?  How often are they emailing you?  Are they sending their specials and manufacturers incentives? We collect their voicemails and see if they’re using templates, or leaving the same message over and over?
